The ORF (Austrian Broadcasting) with its Tv-show "Aufgegabelt" in the Goldener Engl in Hall

On August 10, 2007, in coperation with the Tourism Association Hall-Wattens, the head chef Marcus Oberhauser and Andrea Karrer, the well-known author of cookbooks, cooked up a real feast in the Hotel Goldener Engl for the popular Tv-show "Aufgegablet".

The topic was "Vegetable delights of the region" and thus it made perfect sense to cook a vegetable dish.

Quite recently the hotel was accepted as a member of the Verband der Schlosshotels & Herrenhäuser "Historic Hotels of Europe". Only a fewe selected hotels are granted this special mark of distinction. The gorgeous Stuben on the first floor, the carefully arranged rooms and the spa area with view of the Münzturm (Mint Tower) and of the St. Nikolaus Church are used of movie shots.
